Questions

Frequently asked questions

What areas does Clear-A-Way serve?+

Clear-A-Way serves all of Brevard County, Florida, including Melbourne, Palm Bay, Titusville, Cocoa, Rockledge, Merritt Island, Viera, Satellite Beach and every community in between.

How much does junk removal cost?+

Pricing is based on how much space your items take up in the trailer, and you get a flat, all-in price before any work starts. Text a photo of your pile to (321) 497-5868 for a free quote — labor, loading, and disposal fees are included.

Can you come out the same day?+

Yes. Same-day and next-day appointments are usually available seven days a week from 8:00am to 8:00pm. Storm debris and urgent cleanouts are prioritized.

Who actually shows up at my house?+

Clear-A-Way is owned and operated by a working Brevard County firefighter. You get a courteous, uniformed crew that treats your property the way they would treat a call — carefully and professionally.

What items can't you take?+

We can't accept hazardous materials such as paint, chemicals, fuel, asbestos, or medical waste. Nearly everything else — furniture, appliances, storm debris, construction scrap, electronics and household junk — is fair game. Ask if you're unsure.

Do I have to move everything to the curb?+

No. We do all the lifting and carrying from wherever the items sit — upstairs, backyard, attic or garage — and we sweep the area when we're done.

Where does my junk end up?+

Usable furniture and household goods are donated when possible, metal and electronics are recycled, and only what's left goes to a licensed disposal facility.
